给家长的信 A letter for parents
Dear Parents,
Firstly, I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Lunar New Year! I would also like to seek your assistance in 3D’s pupils’ daily work in school so as to guide them towards a more self-directed and improved learning process.
As we had already started since day 1, the pupils are required to do and hand in their homework on time. Their homework list will be written on the class whiteboard and the class homework blog will be updated during the later part of the day, daily.
I would like to ask parents to help out in checking your child’s books if they have finished all assigned work and corrections, and just indicate by signing on their books after you have checked so. This is applicable for the Chinese workbook, the Chinese Spelling book, the Chinese files.
As for the Chinese Spelling day, I will be doing some amendments to the original spelling list given and will only inform the pupils about the Chinese Spelling date at least 3 days in advance. This is because I want to add on some previously learnt words in the original given word list so as to make them revise, and due to the class learning progress and public/school holidays ahead, it will be difficult to set a permanent day for Chinese Spelling. Thus I seek your understanding in this area.
I greatly appreciate parents’ help from home, and so will the pupils, to see how much their parents care about them.

首先在此祝贺你们农历新年快乐，合家安康！今日我想请家长们协助您的孩子学习自律，并让他们在学习方面能够更加进步。
